Canadian metalcore band Too Many Times are currently giving away their debut self-titled EP for free. The album was recorded at Private Ear Studios in Winnipeg with John Paul Peters (Means, Comeback Kid, A Textbook Tragedy, Every New Day).

Having recently completed their first tour in Canada, Too Many Times are planning to hit the States next summer, by which time they’ll have a new full-length album in tow. The Yorkton, Saskatchewan six-piece will be keeping busy until then with shows locally.

Chicago roots-rock group YellowHammers will be bringing their live show to Minneapolis on Saturday, July 24th. Playing at Memory Lanes, the band is excited to make the Twin Cities their second home. “We plan on touring through the area every couple of months,” said guitar player and vocalist Terry White. As a precursor to the show, YellowHammers will be performing on KARE 11’s Showcase Minnesota on July 23rd.

With a new self-titled record that was produced by music legend Jon Langford (The Mekons, Waco Brothers), YellowHammers have been referred to as “Americana at its finest.” The seasoned musicians have honed their sound with over a decade of songwriting, and show no signs of slowing down. “Every time we put out a new album, it gives us more momentum,” said White.

Los Angeles pop-rockers Scarlet Grey will be self-releasing their new six-song EP “Fancy Blood” on June 1st. The record features guest vocals from AFI’s Davey Havok, as well as production work by Jade Puget of AFI.

In support of the album, Scarlet Grey are continuing to tour with AFI, hitting the Midwest in the coming weeks. Having previously played with Saosin, Yellowcard, Rooney, After Midnight Project, and others, the four-piece are planning to line up additional touring for the summer.
