Chicago roots-rock group YellowHammers will be bringing their live show to Minneapolis on Saturday, July 24th. Playing at Memory Lanes, the band is excited to make the Twin Cities their second home. “We plan on touring through the area every couple of months,” said guitar player and vocalist Terry White. As a precursor to the show, YellowHammers will be performing on KARE 11’s Showcase Minnesota on July 23rd.
With a new self-titled record that was produced by music legend Jon Langford (The Mekons, Waco Brothers), YellowHammers have been referred to as “Americana at its finest.” The seasoned musicians have honed their sound with over a decade of songwriting, and show no signs of slowing down. “Every time we put out a new album, it gives us more momentum,” said White.
Los Angeles pop-rockers Scarlet Grey will be self-releasing their new six-song EP “Fancy Blood” on June 1st. The record features guest vocals from AFI’s Davey Havok, as well as production work by Jade Puget of AFI.
New Jersey pop-rock group Alamance will be releasing their new full-length album “In The Moment” June 15th via Smack In The Face Records with distribution through OarFin/E1. The record was produced by Rob Freeman (Hit The Lights, Armor For Sleep, Cobra Starship) and the music video for the first single, “Your Eyes,” will be premiering next month.
